Some eBay sellers have it in stock for immediate delivery but be prepared to pay about 40$ more. I'm about to cancel my Amazon order for this more expensive (but safer) option.
My recent Amazon order was postponed and is supposed to be delivered on Dec.27th , but at this point I'm not sure I'll ever receive it.
Amazon UK listed 2 left in stock. I ordered 1 and...an hour later it still says 2 left in stock. We'll see if I ever get this order. Otherwise, I assume a record company interested in making money will respond to the demand by doing a second run.

In the end you might end up with a tiger.

Of cause I might love keeping the gecko.

House Centipedes are awesome. They'll eat all the real nasties and you only have to be creeped out by occasionally seeing them bolt across the floor. Mostly Harmless!
Now, if a Camel popped out of the box....

Whenever I see a House Centipede, I realize that’s what it is just as I’m smashing it, mistaking it for a silverfish (which I hate, so I feel Gary’s horror). Gary, I don’t know how silverfish would get in a new, sealed set. Was it just one or two really? We need more info!

Actually, a beautiful camel in a bikini is what’s SUPPOSED to pop out of the box, metaphorically. That’s what most of us got. Perhaps for some it’s a camel in a Speedo.

EDIT: Actually, I guess it’s supposed to be more like the woman depicted on the slipcase.

They should fumigate the next one.

    I objurgate the centipede,
A bug we do not really need.
At sleepy-time he beats a path
Straight to the bedroom or the bath.
You always wallop where he's not,
Or, if he is, he makes a spot.

What can this strange device be? When I touch it, it brings forth a sound (2112)

^ I've listened to all of the studio albums, some of them twice, including the new mixes, but I have yet to watch any of the video. I believe I have most of the video material on the previously released DVDs, and I've watched those a lot, though I'm curious to see if they've improved the video quality at all (not that it was bad).

The contents of the set are a little confusing to me, partly because of missing info, and partly it's just a little overwhelming.

This place appears to have over 30 of these still in stock...? I'm not sure how reliable they are though.

Well they are officially part of Universal so they should be good! It's all the independent dealers who unofficially jumped the gun on this release with all the wrong information, artwork and pricing that seem to have created chaos.

Great to hear it. I'm still waiting for my Amazon UK order from a week ago to ship. Meanwhile, Amazon Japan is still offering to ship orders in 4 to 6 weeks. And a third party seller is taking advantage of the scarcity by offering a "collectible" new copy for $649. Their item description says that it is "out of print"--we'll see.

Those of us who have the MCB *AND* the BGGB (Big Gentle Giant Box) should meet up and smoke cigars somewhere!

Of course I have both the BGGB and (now) the MCB boxes... but also the VDGG , S.HILLAGE , B.BRUFORD , GONG , TD (2), KC (3) and many others...
You can prepare the cigars, my friend...

Got the box a few days ago from JPC (at 116 euro incl shipping!), so far gave the surround mixes half a listen, but wow -
Incredible, real discrete mixes, the kind that you notice details that you haven't noticed before (quite a feat for ~50 year old records), and the sound is overall marvelous.
