The last couple of minutes of Edgar Froese's "Maroubra Bay"...

... are some of the most beautiful in prog. Haunting and, for me, deeply moving.

Edgar was a master of the poignant ending, when he wanted to be - the end of the title track for "Phaedra" on LP, with the children's voices, the end of "Tangram Set 2", the creepy end of "Rubycon Part 2"..., but "Maroubra Bay" is the pick.

    Sending it some love.

Does it matter that this waste of time is what makes a life for you?

Totally agree with the OP but on Phaedra I reckon Baumann's 'Sequent C' out haunts Edgar.
