I'd go if I were in the area. That Janel Leppin album is just ace. Certainly in my top 5 of the year so far.

Yes, that is a smoking hot double-bill. If only somebody would hurry up and invent a transporter...

Excellent! I'll be there. Tickets only at the door? Feels like it should be a sell out at such a small venue.

Tickets ONLY at the door. I wish it would sell out but these things never seem to sell out.

    a) I am definitely doing the door, so please do introduce yourself.

    b) are these locals folks who have done Orion before? Or are they also new to Orion?

    all the best

    a) I will
    b) I believe they have. They definitely know of it. The friend I am staying with automatically wanted to go when he found out that it was a Cuneiform night

It was really, really great. Both bands were fantastic and unique, the crowd was excellent. Great to see some of the regulars, but also to see Neil again (whom I'm going to just admit...I know ya and we've certainly talked at Progday, but damned if I hadn't put you + your screen name together until last night, Mr. Boilk ).

Yay Orion, yay Cuneiform, yay live music and good times.
If you're actually reading this then chances are you already have my last album but if NOT and you're curious:

Also, Ephemeral Sun: it's a thing and we like making things that might be your thing: https://ephemeralsun.bandcamp.com

Just got back from Baltimore tonight. I had an amazing weekend being shown around town by my hosts, the incredible Jeff Laramee and his partner Sharon. The highlight was, without a doubt, my first trip to Orion and seeing two totally different, yet very complimentary and superb bands. They both knocked it out of the park and reminded me why live music is so awesome. It's a killer venue and felt very welcoming and is a wonderful place to see bands. Plus, I'm psyched that they had some t-shirts back in stock!

Great to see some familiar faces, like John (Mr. Battema, ha!), Rick Dashiell and Mike Potter and nice to make some new acquaintances like Ed and Steve F. Cuneiform nights are definitely a beautiful thing and I hope that there will be more in the future. A resounding round of applause for the bands, the crowd and everyone who helped put the night together

    Neil
