My other “brilliant” idea is Jon Anderson with Transatlantic. They’ve all ready done a live set together on one of the cruises, Anderson has made a record with Roine Stolt, and Neal Morse almost had a gig on the ARW tours. Also, on that podcast Morse and Anderson did together I thought they bounced off each other pretty well. So Transatlantic opens the show with a set of their own music and then Anderson comes out for a set of Yes music plus an Invention of Knowledge highlight medley in the middle somewhere. Transatlantic gets to play their music for a Yes audience that mostly has probably never heard of them and Anderson gets just about the best band playing Yes music that he could get in the here and now. So everybody wins.

I have had that same thought about a Transatlantic/Jon Anderson show. TA with a 40 minute opening set, followed by a 2 hour "Yes" set with Anderson, including some bits of IoK. I think Yes fans would enjoy it - however, it seems to me that the members of TA have so many projects going that it would be a challenge for all of them to be able to block off the time for a proper tour.

Apart from a few slightly wobbly notes right at the beginning, his voice is pretty stunning on this - especially considering he's approaching 78!

Heard little Yes and even less Anderson so this is not my area but noticed a new (Jul 2022) Castellano youtube vid where he says (see 3:08-5:00) they're rehearsing for 2023 Anderson shows. 2023. Looks like the target year being 2023 was already known but anyway fyi. More on other topics in this update vid fyi.

I’d love to check this out, but, alas, no tour date near me. Hopefully there are more to be added.

If you visit their website - they even secured the Yes-ish domain name - it does say More Dates TBA

That's redirecting to an unsecure site, BTW.

Kind of odd that the poster says they'll play "selections from" Awaken, Ritual, Gates of Delirium, etc.

CTTE, Gates, Ritual and Awaken are ~85 minutes of music by themselves!

He's probably concerned about ambushes from Indian tribes.

IANAL, but I would guess that name is contrary to the c. 1983 agreement over how the Yes name can be used that ABWH were sued over. I would also guess that Yes and current management won't take any action, unless Anderson and the Geeks try to sell any Dean logo T-shirts.

Gotta love Ticketmaster taking whatever liberties they can with the name of the act. Got this in my email today, complete with Roger Dean-ish art:

I have gotten similar emails for the Carl Palmer tour under just "Emerson Lake and Palmer".

I'm not convinced that this is Ticketmaster's invention. It may be Jon's, it may be the tour manager or promoter's.
