Yes, Comfort Inn is right across from Total Wine, the A and P of beer and wine stores. Liquor is sold at state ABC stores.

Depends on what fixed is. Website goes to the generic booking page. Call the hotel.

I hope to attend and think it’s likely enough for me to have reserved a hotel room.

OK, I'm booked. When I tried the other day, it wouldn't take, and when I tried today, I was unable to change the reservation to more than one night. It just kept reverting back. A phone call got the job done.

I took the advice of CNN and reserved a rental car now. They warn that so many people will be travelling this summer that, like last summer where rental agencies reduced their fleets, the agencies will again be low on cars. Or maybe it's more that the demand is just going to be very high, as everyone is eager to travel. Prices ain't cheap, either! Also, plan for longer lines than we're used to at airports.

^ I'm going to drive in, despite the distance. I plan on checking out the Asheville beer scene while I'm in the area. (Starting on the Monday.)
