    Combine has begun
Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

What's going on with Amari Cooper? Rumor he's being traded. Wouldn't mind seeing him in Aqua & Orange.

Russell Wilson to the Broncos. Yeah, Denver has a good team but that's a tough division.

And one of the players coming from Denver is Drew Lock... why did Seattle include a guy they're most likely going to cut? Basically Seattle is hoping to get out from under that shitty Jamal Adams trade.

I haven't been paying a ton of attention, but that Russell Wilson trade caught me by surprise.

I love the trade for Wilson and the Broncos. Seattle does Wilson a solid by letting him go, but also gets some rebuilding blocks. With all the Rodgers to Broncos rumors though, it is a bit of a surprise.

2 1st rounder and 2 2nd rounders is nice. That TE Fant is pretty good too. I'll be very curious to see what they do with QB

Wow, I heard a rumor the Pack sent an offer to Rodgers. Didn’t know it was accepted. 4/200. Jeebus. Goodbye Jordan Love. Feel the irony.

It’s hard to see a loser in that Denver/Seattle trade. Denver is set up for a SB run; Seattle can restock and rebuild.

Whoa whoa whoa. If someone is going to do something stupid, it better involve Sam Darnold because there’s nothing stupider than paying Sam Darnold money to be a professional football player.

Seriously, though, I hear he’s a nice kid. He can cut up his own food and even go potty all by himself.

    re: kirk covid

Recent day old rumors actually have Phish as a possible landing spot due to cap space and their iffy endorsement of Tua.

also Lions if Minn takes back Goff - which would STILL create 20+ million in cap room for Vikes - some pick swapping would have to occur there too.

Given that the QB wanted to leave they took the best deal they could get out of conference, happy / not happy.

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

Not to change the subject, but I had a Barbeque Chicken Pizza tonight, slathered in garlic butter and crushed red pepper. Wonderful. Washed it down with a Masthead Dreamcrusher DDH 3xNEIPA. Heaven.

    Carry on.

Yeah. Maybe. Seattle hasn't exactly been aces at the draft the last several seasons. Hopefully they'll acquiesce to idea they're in rebuild mode (not reload) and not make another dumb trade after regaining some draft position.

The AFC West is loaded, just like the NFC West last year. Sure, Wilson is an upgrade over Lock, a low bar to be sure.

We'll see how the QB situations in SF and AZ shake down. This might work in the Rams favor next season.

Maybe they can parlay those picks to get Pickett.

And they've released Bobby Wagner, probably my favourite Seahawk

An amazing 2 Hall Of Famers in the same draft, jettisoned on the same day.

If I'm a Broncos fan, I'm excited about the upgrade, and the chance it gives them. Tbh, I think that's the kind of trade you make if you think you're one player away, and I don't think the Broncos are. I also think that Russ is on the downside of his career, but not horribly so. Fortunately for Denver, this trade doesn't affect drafts beyond this year and next, so it shouldn't cripple the franchise. As for Seattle, the picks help remediate the effects of the Jamal Adams trade, but they'll probably have to use one of the picks on this year's poor crop of QBs, so...not as much as you would like.

Denver probably wins the trade, but this doesn't hugely alter the power balance in the AFC, imo.

Sounds like Seattle is going full rebuild. I did see an article that says they are open to trading Lockett as well.
