Like a radio guy here says, if your favorite team wins, it's "we", but if they lose, it's "they".

I saw the stat line for Daniel Jones. Is he the new Lord Dinkin Dunk, since Ben retired?

The Browns meltdown in the last 2 minutes against the Jets was epic. 2nd time in the last 3 (?) years they've lost to the bottom-feeding Jets. Also, 2nd game this year where they let an opponent's wide receiver run wild and free in the secondary, resulting in a long touchdown bomb. We're pretty disgusted.

Same thing happened with the Ravens, but the coaching lost that game for them.

Sadly, like with the cowboys vs various feckless nfc east foes, this will never happen.

We were out of town, so I missed the game, but it doesn’t look like I missed much. Panthers are just bad. What QB can we draft next year? Hopefully someone good for whoever the new coach is. Yeesh.

Ya gotta feel bad for the people trying to schedule compelling prime time games.

Injuries are tearing up the Ravens again this year. Two more players lost for the year.

Whoo boy, what a coming out party for Jalen Hurts. And it was great to see the Eagles' defense completely shut down the Vikings after a less-than-stellar week against Detroit.

    Solid, convincing win.

Watched a bit of the game. Same thought, great defense.

Does it matter if Harbaugh calls the plays?

Five first and goals from inside the five and he calls the same play every time.

I know Scott can't get enough of Brownie The Elf. If anyone is curious, here's the known history:

Very interesting. And I can appreciate it much more, knowing the history. Much like the Guardians' name and logo.

But it also makes me wonder why, if Modell is the guy who got rid of Brownie in the first place, why they didn't immediately go to this when they were awarded a team again. Seems like the perfect way to exorcise that demon.

^ I think the Dawg thing was such a brand, they didn't want to mess with it. Personally, I see the Dawgs as belonging to a certain era, when Dixon and Minnifield were the corners. Dawgs doesn't really have anything to do with Browns. It wouldn't bother me if they laid that whole thing to rest.

What surprises me is that the fans were to blame for selecting the name Browns. That, and that there were at least two other professional sports franchises who had Browns for the team name.

Feels good hearing Al Michaels call a game without dufus Collinsworth’s mouth yammering on and on.

And now here’s something we hope you will really like

Apple has inked a multiyear deal with the National Football League, making Apple Music the new sponsor of the NFL Super Bowl halftime show.*The centerpiece of the annual championship football game each February, the halftime show is an extravagant event known for hosting some of the biggest performers in the industry, making it a perfect showcase for Apple's subscription music service.

And Taylor Swift is reportedly all but a lock for this year's halftime show.

Dolphins have their hands full this Sunday. I expect an L, but if they put up a fight and not get blown out embarrassingly I'll take it.

She's not doing it. Although I wouldn't mind if she did...
