This little gem showed up at my door yesterday, and what a gem it is!! Purchased solely on the description, it's as advertised...jazzy interludes, rocking sections, ambient breaks, it's quite a ride...I'd recommend it to fans of the mid-90's space oriented Porcupine Tree, it's relaxing, introspective, very well played instrumental 'thinking people's' music....

Good timing -- I just downloaded and listened to this.
I wouldn't draw any parallels to Porcupine Tree. In fact, I don't know quite what to compare it to. I hear a little No Man (obviously most when TB is singing), a little Mats Morgen, a little Secret Oyster... It's light in terms of prog, very subtle in use of jazz voicings, but very listenable all the same. I'd call it "grown up music for progheads", how's that?
Oh, and one more thing -- the marketing idea is f-ing brilliant for any group just starting out. Record an EP and then just give it away. Boom, instant exposure to a whole lot more people than if you had done up a full scale album and put it up for sale.

Really good album. I don't hear any Porcupine Tree in this. It reminds me more of some seventies jazzy prog bands like Quiet Sun and maybe even Gilgamesh. Last song even sounds little bit like VdGG.

I've read a review, heard the comparison Manzanera/Quiet Sun and ten seconds later I'd ordered it. Normally I would first illegally download it, but - hey, this is 2013, whenever do I expect to get the time to listen to all my illegal downloads?
I've also bought online, the new Azure Ray without hearing a single note. I'm just in love with both ladies.

From the samples I've listened to, I sensed some Quiet Sun ressembance. CD is on it's way so I cannot further comment, but I have high expectations.
I'm giving it my first spin right now and I have to say I'm very impressed with this. I hear some Quiet Sun and some hints of spacey Soft Machine. Really wonderful stuff.
