Klaus Schulze - Schulze - Schickert Sessions released

For those that enjoy mid-70's KS. An unreleased 45-minutes improv with KS on synths and Schickert on echo guitar and voices. Very much in 'Timewind' territory IMHO, both in terms of composition and sonic quality. Vinyl and CD issues.

Ken @ Laser's Edge has copies of the vinyl (the CD release has two additional bonus tracks from the same period):

Got it in the mail from Ken yesterday. I won't get to it until the weekend.

The time period is certainly in my wheelhouse for Schulze.

This should be right up my alley. Thanks for the heads up.

Sounds like it's going to be one for me.

Not sure if there's a Guinness record for most unreleased music now released, but if there were Schulze would have to be in the running

This is one of the good ones IMHO. Very much classic KS, excellent sound quality for a mid-70's private session.

(now, if my long-awaited copy of Shadowlands would just ship already, it'd be a nice month of new electronic music )

I picked up the cd from Lasers Edge for the few minutes it was on the site.

    It is very good.

Hopefully the CD will be back in stock soon. We still have vinyl on hand.

    What are the bonus tracks?

    The names? Ummm:

    Spirits of the Dead
    Happy Country Life

Again, they are from the same period as the session. Can't recall exact timings, but I think it is about 20 extra minutes. As I understand it, the titles themselves are generally assigned decades later by kdm rather than KS.

Actually, the info is also here: http://www.klaus-schulze.com/disco/4b31sc.htm

    Hope this helps...
