SLEEP... I'm hoping they will ride the momentum from "The Sciences" and be motivated to come up with some more tunes... I sure don't want to wait another 20 or so years for another album from them! (I may not be around!)
You say Mega Ultra Deluxe Special Limited Edition Extended Autographed 5-LP, 3-CD, 4-DVD, 2-BlueRay, 4-Cassette, five 8-Track, MP4 Download plus Demos, Outtakes, Booklet, T-Shirt and Guitar Pick Gold-Leafed Box Set Version like it's a bad thing...

Absolutely yes on new SLEEP, but I'm even more excited for more from OM... I think their arrangements on the latest are fantastic and show a lot of interesting promise!

Yes, Allan’s passing pulled the rug out of that project for me. I did buy in, but gave up on my expectations. Losing Jack & Allan is so tragic.

But well, there are a lot of other artists I would like to see new work by.
I want a new Wim Mertens (I mean with all those cancelled live-concerts, he would have been able to spend time on composing new stuff.)
Well, that last wish seems to be answered, because I see a new Wim Mertens album being anounced, though not on his website yet. It looks like it will be a double and it is on my wishlist.

Dave did all the recording and mixing. I only did the final mastering, basically just helping the tracks, recorded over several years time, to sit together on one album.

Really? Missed the EP? The new album is due this year. It's a concept called "The Story of Mr. Bogd".

Not a band, but am hoping for Jonathan Hultén to release a second solo recording. I just loved his Chants From Another Place of 2020.

Yes, I must have missed that so thanks for pointing that out. Glad to see they have a new album coming out.

There's supposed to be a new album by The Church this year but it's been in the oven for awhile now. Neither of the original guitarists are left so normally I'd be less interested but Jeffrey Cain is working on it and I love his albums with Kilbey as Isidore so I'm curious what comes out -- if it sounds like Isidore pt. 3 with more live guitar, that would be worth hearing.

Camel is still around so I don't see why not. The same thing with the others.

I would think IQ would be due for a new one soon too. Anekdoten are also long over due (way more so than IQ).
