I'm a Curved Air Patreon. Sonja Kristina says she and the band are working on a new album. She needs more folks on Patreon to help with expenses.
They're touring in England in six weeks, then going to Brazil as a three piece for three gigs. She has been on Discord every week on Wednesdays.
We just finished. She is taking a break to practice in her house.

I've certainly heard talk of it. Here's hoping.

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

It's finished and mastered. It's coming out [digitally only] on Cuneiform. Hopefully in the summer.

Well, I wish it was getting a physical release, but digital is fine with me (I'll still get it).

You do know Trees Speak put out two albums in 2021?

otherwise, bunch of those I retained released also an album in 2021, so I wouldn't expect a new album this year.

A new 5UUs is great news, but I would also love a new Vak. I thought that their last album was excellent.

New spoken word records by Winston Churchill and Urho Kekkonen, recorded recently after reforming for new tours.

    It's progressive.

I have to say that a new (or even final!) Kerman/5UU's release would arguably be the biggest musical event for me in, well, a very long time. One of the most interesting -progressive-for-real - projects of the last 35 years, and certainly one of those which completely changed my mind fundamentally on the creativity-potential of the entire concept.

    Can't wait!

    Gotye

Gotye has consistently spoken of his love for the music-making process. It is, therefore, unsurprising that he is taking time before releasing his long-awaited fourth album. One Reddit user explained:

“He’s been working on LP4 for fucking ever. I mean I listened to an interview from a few years ago that completely made sense to me about assembling a record over a long period of time until he’s happy with it (like how his last two went). So it’s not like he hasn’t been doing anything. I’m sure he’s been working hard on developing [a] cohesive album.”

Man... I've just about given up hope on anything new from Gotye at this point. Would still love to hear new music from him of course.
