That's because she never met me.

Okay, we're officially in the gutter.

My comment about bragging was 100% baseball-related.

Dude, it was. If I was a braggart, I'd be annoying the hell out of you guys about those Yankees turning the AL East into a laugher.

No offense intended. I was keeping with the innuendo.

    No sweat.

I also don't brag because your team is only as good as the next day's opposing pitcher, and they just got no-hit by the Asterisks.

Eesh. 97mph fastball to the hand. Broken thumb? Looked like it might've shattered every bone in Harper's hand.

AL Central teams are a combined 96-121 (.442) when not playing each other, equivalent to a 71-91 record per 162 games.

Yeah. Really tough break (pun probably intended). Hopefully the rest of the team can rise up and continue to play the way they have since Girardi's firing (man, he must have just been AWFUL) and hopefully Harper isn't out for the season.

That's one factor with the Asterisks' record. They played 21 games against teams with >.500 records, whereas NY has played 35.

They need to bring back the balanced schedule. That's not the only reason, though. I think this silly scheduling system has diluted rivalries.

They'll never change it, though. Money rules everything.

Happy BB Day, to all who observe.

Phillies' rookie Darick Hall, in his second MLB game, hits two home runs for his first hits in the Bigs. Congrats, kid.

Is it true that they’re currently in negotiations for an extension? #LGM

I think Cohen wants to turn it into a fan holiday of sorts - my son thinks that a Bobby Bo Bobble Day is likely for next year!

O's are winning 2-1, bring in a reliever in the 8th and gets 3 up and 3 down. Bring in another reliever in the 9th and a single and walk off home run, WTF. We have another Buck Showalter.

Asshole manager does the same thing today in the bottom of the 9th. I guess he likes getting a top three pick every year.

In cricket news England score 378 runs for 3 wickets to beat India in their biggest ever home run chase (they've been playing tests matches since 1877).

^ You'd think that by now, they'd be done with the test matches and on to the real thing.

No, I think a game lasting 145 years is pretty standard in cricket.

It's just one of a 5 game series, could take some time.
