    Prog Ears Pledge Drive 2022

The PE you enjoy today is the product of the care and passion of the admins and moderators - along with everyone who steadfastly tunes in daily and reads or shares content. We know there are many options when it comes to talking prog rock on the 'net and are thankful PE still offers a vibe and angle that other places do not. It's very rewarding to see PE continue to be meaningful, and "...still crazy, after all these years" (apologies to S&G ).

The kinder and wiser PE we enjoy in the 2020s is a much more civil and level headed place than it was in the 2000s, and it's become the place we always hoped it could be.

For those of you who regularly donate to the site here, we offer a hearty thank you! Words can't really express our appreciation, but you have kept us "on the air" all these years.

At this time if you haven't had a chance to click the DONATE icon in the gold bar at the top of the page, please take a minute to do so, if you can. Consider it a way of saying thanks to everyone here that continues to make PE vital, even in the age of social media. PE lives on and still has a purpose thanks to everyone who tunes in regularly to read or share content here.

Back in 1999 when this forum was first launched, who could have imagined that we would still be kicking 22+ years later!

Take care, and we hope 2022 will be kinder to all of us than 2020 or 2021 were.
    Regards,

    Duncan

It's usually after 9 months, Greg.

    Oh, wait - you mean...

    Should be around July, Greg.

I don't like country music, but I don't mean to denigrate those who do. And for the people who like country music, denigrate means 'put down.'- Bob Newhart

OK - I've skulked around in the shadows of this site for too many years without financially supporting the cause - but it IS one of my first go-to sources for discovering new music, so it's about time I do my fair share - and I had some catching up to do, so consider it done.

I will subscribe as soon as my year is up. I owe lots to this place, even if I don't post very often

I just realized that this March will be 20 years on PE for me (at least going by the Join Date over there, I forget if that goes back to PE v2.0 or what). Then I realized that my Golden Star had died out, so I just recharged it (well, it should be on in a while). Thanks to the people who power PE!

EDIT: Oh, it's lit already. Did I imagine it? Anyway, I'm sure it had been close to a year.

Yep - that's automatic. Though I also check every one manually, because I remember the frustrations in PEv2 when stars weren't assigned.
