    Autumn Prog Camp 2021

    NJ Proghouse Autumn Prog Camp

Anyone going to this? I’m planning on going, as much for the socializing as the music. But I’m going to wait and see what the weather predictions are.

Wasn't there already a prog camp? I have an fb friend who went to it. I guess that was for the summer though.

I have tickets, and plan to go unless the weather is just crazy. Looks like possible rain with a high of 54F. I will keep monitoring...

I’ll keep monitoring as well. If it was today it’d be great weather!

So the weather outlook isn't bad - mid 50's and sunny! I'm going. Aside from a trip to Arizona in September to visit the in-laws, this will be my first trip out of my little part of NY since COVFEEF-19 came to town, and my first concert since Blue Oyster Cult in early 2020. So it'll be good to see some people I know and talk to them, like we used to do.

Also, to top things off in a somewhat random fashion, NJ Proghouse or Progstock is presenting after the Prog Camp, an indoor show nearby featuring Rachel Flowers followed by John Payne's Asia, so I guess people are going from Prog Camp to this show afterward, including me. I've never seen Rachel Flowers, and I really like her new album. I've also never seen any version of Asia, nor do I have a great desire to, however, I expect it to be fun in a cheesy way. John Payne's Asia, featuring no one I know! Maybe.
