Just gave this a first spin last night. It's good. Perhaps a bit more "subtle" than their previous albums. Definitely one I'll be digging into a lot over the coming weeks.

Is the bandcamp download up yet? It still says pre-order on the site.

Listening to the CD now - sounds great! ^^ Official release date is Nov. 19th - the CDs just shipped early, as is usual with Cuneiform releases preordered from Wayside or Bandcamp. I like that Steve sticks with the release date for the digital releases. It reminds me of the days when record stores all got in new releases on Tuesdays!

Listening for the 3rd straight time, after buying the download a couple of hours ago. It is just marvellous. Congratulations to the band, Steve and Udi.

Brilliant band and an autobuy for me. I agree that CD is the way to go. Bands don't buy their records anymore, especially when they aren't touring. Can't see how to sell 500 copies of "Ur". 300 could be a more viable edition I guess, if the band could circulate 100 of them and the label the rest.

What can this strange device be? When I touch it, it brings forth a sound.

I've listened to my download twice. It's a good one, Greg.

Track 5, Secolo Breve, is so good! It's got that repetitive, Zombi/John Carpenter thing happening, but faster. The album is just great!

Yes, that is a great track. Lots of inventive stuff going on here on this disc, with loads of great piano playing especially standing out. It's a bit of a departure/maturing of style but still a natural extension of their output, to these ears. There are still some moments where I wish they had a bass player again, but maybe that is because I play bass, lol! They do fill things out sonically quite nicely, so it's not too noticeable in its absence. Great release.

I agree with both of these points
This album shows progression and evolution
Lyricisms repetition and slightly more melodic content
Giovanni assured me Next album will feature a bass player

Just got my CD, only had chance for one listen, but should be the first of many. Loving it, and great to hear the band developing their sound and touching on new areas musically. Really enjoying what Alessandro Bonetti brings to the band and I hope the collaboration will continue.
