I live in Michigan so difficult to say anything good about OSU, but yes that halftime show was very cool. The OSU band is one of the best in the country no doubt.

Wasn't this already posted? Oh wait. Only by me in the post something cool thread. Lol. Anyway, yes this was fun to watch. The motorcycle configuration is obviously a tribute to Neil since he was an avid motorcyclist.

Here’s what Geddy and Alex said about it in an email blast today. Well said, and nice to hear.:

OHIO STATE MARCHING BAND GIVES THEIR SPIN ON THE MUSIC OF RUSH

Did you catch the Ohio State Marching Band’s tribute performance to Rush?
We were absolutely mesmerized and blown away by it. Thank you Ohio State University band leader Christopher Roch and all 268 band members that put their time into this incredible performance!!

Neil would have loved it. Thank you CBC The National for giving them their due on The Moment. So well deserved!

I also saw it posted on the NCAA Football thread, but thought it deserved front page access.

I wouldn't have seen this cause I don't pay attention to college football the college football thread.

I did marching band and I know how hard that is. Cold wet football fields at 6 A.M. with a sax, it ain't fun and it sure as hell ain't easy. That's just some amazing shit regardless of the Rush part of it.

    Makes me cry nonetheless.

As a former marching band guy myself, I find it amazing what they do. The fact that they put together more than one extravagant half time show per season is also amazing. Lots and lots of work and practice goes into that.

First time I saw them do "Script Ohio" years and years ago I couldn't believe it. But this stuff is otherworldly.
