    The Clockwork Orange record store

I happened to have just watched this movie in a long while, and in addition to the soundtrack to 2001 prominently on display, it looks like there is a John Fahey album to the right of it, and a copy of Magical Mystery Tour very high up above the clerk.
But, in the scene just prior to that, Alex walks by a rack containing Rare Earth's Get Ready, Tim Buckley's Lorca, and As Your Mind Flies By, by Rare Bird. I think l might see a Goblin album there but l'm not sure. Does anyone see any others? (And of course we all know now where the band Heaven 17 got their name...)

To the left of As Your Mind Flies By is Atom Heart Mother.

Top right is U by The Incredible String Band. The albums above the shopkeeper at the end of the scene appear to be Magical Mystery Tour, After The Gold Rush and Atom Heart Mother (again).

So we are looking for more UK releases from September-October 1970. ;-)

    I also spot:

Keef Hartley Band: The Time Is Near
New York Rock & Roll Ensemble: Roll Over
    Johnny Winter: First Winter
    Freedom: Freedom
    Iron Butterfly: Metamorphosis
    CSNY: Deja Vu
    And possibly Chicago Transit Authority

And how about that big Vertigo logo over the clerk's area?

I watched it too recently and paused it. One album I noticed that hasn't been mentioned yet was the first Stray album.

Glad to know that in Burgess’/Kubrick’s future England people listen to mostly old 70’s music!

Always wondered about that! - however the most interesting to me was the HiFi, Audiophile Micro Cassettes! That sounded like a neat idea! - of course, physics, of course, but still...

Well, of course when Burgess was writing it, the early '70s was the future.
