Another song/video by Darel Stevens Rainbows/Gooselake

I created this video for a song my best friend Darel did called Gooselake.
Gooselake was an outdoor music festival in Michigan during the weekend of August 7-8-9 in the year 1970.
It was always referred to as Michigan's Woodstock, with a crowd in attendance of at least 250,000.
Headliners included Jethro Tull, Chicago, Alice Cooper, Small Faces, James Gang, and on and on.
Darel did go to Gooselake, and often told me stories about that day, and I was surprised one day to find a new song he'd done 6 or 7 years ago titled Gooselake.

Music, lyrics, vocals are Darel Stevens, video by Richard Hermans.
I hope you enjoy a little bit of fun and music from this video.

    Very nice work, man
And the code is a play, a play is a song, a song is a film, a film is a dance...

Thanks John. I set up a YouTube channel just for his music, and Marv and I created videos for 5 songs of his. Just stuff he had sent us over the years.
I'm not much of a church going kind of guy, but he recorded a hymn that is so beautiful it gives me goosebumps, so I'll eventually get around to putting that up on YT.

I put together a DVD of all the videos Marv and I have done and included all of Darel's as well. I sent a copy to his wife Kathy, and she was thrilled.
It was time, too soon and she wouldn't have been able to handle it, so now it's about focusing on the good memories.

    Thanks again for your support.
