Hey Marilo fan I won't answer that but:

    - Check these two songs not too unlike 1985-1994 era Marilo (guitar etc), not much close to typical Police: Mad About You, Hounds of Love. And maybe even I Hung My Head. Btw, the last two come from the same album but that says nothing about the rest of the album (which is essentially Adult Contemporary with various genres in it).

    - His first two albums are similar to each other and great, jazzy. The second has a lot of soprano sax , you can steer clear if you don't like that. The closer in the first (Fortess... ) anwas going to go into the song list above but the sax took the song somewhere else.

I know all his solo albums fairly well up through Brand New Day, all of them are very good. Genres can be varied across them a bit. So check and see.

Thanks. I always thought "Built-In Bastard Radar" sounded like a Police or Sting song.

Haven't heard it in 10+ years, so did, and remembered his obvious struggle with high notes around 1:30 -- they shouldn't have left it like that...geez. If you won't re-record the song a bit lower so that he can pull it off smoothly, then just remove that vocal bit from the mix or bring in another Tessa Niles instead or just replace it with an instrument (if you need to preserve the melody)or do it spoken-word.... just do *something*. :-)

^^ Regarding The Arc Of The Diver - What a beautiful album. In the early 80s I remember driving my motorcycle next to my brother's Trans Am as he blasted the album. I could hear it by driving next to him. Good memories.
