    Soup - Live Cuts

Dreamship - Ancestral Voyage I found this CD in my collection, still sealed, and I have no recollection of getting it, but I'd wager it's been in my collection for 15 years or more! I just listened to it and it's pretty good, and obscure at this point. A two-man project, and it reminds me of Happy the Man with a touch of A Triggering Myth, but more tame. Click here for a trip in the Wayback machine. This is an OLD-SCHOOL website!:

Frank Zappa - 200 Motels (50th Anniversary edition) Disc 1

Moody Blues - Days Of Future Passed

Probably had heard equal amounts of both before (which is to say, not much).

I felt like Peak Hour could have been thrown in the middle of 200 Motels if the lyrics were more on the prurient side and there were a couple of twisted musical ideas added in.

I had abandoned the band after Fire & Water, but this last LP of theirs has my favorite Free song of all time on it; 'Wishing Well". Never got tired of that track and to my way of listening, it was the best of Free. If only it were longer and more instrumental accompaniment to that striking Paul Rodgers vocal.

    "Throw down your gun
    You might shoot yourself,
Or is that what you are tryin' to do,
    Put up a fight
    You believe to be right
And someday the sun will shine through".
