Don’t miss We Like It Here. That’s my favorite from them, and I was fortunate enough to buy a copy on vinyl and get the band to autograph it when I saw them a few years ago.

I've started the day with a Real Ibiza chiillout compilation - first mixed one in fact - good soundtrack for a bit of yoga. There's quite an art to those compilations.

    ^^^^

Like the various Chill Out collections that I purchased in pretty large numbers back in the 1998-2012 time frame. Some really great sounds and interesting instrumentation on those collections. Definitely not music to snooze by or for background listening purposes.

Some avant/ avant jazz/rio stuff that I bought for a budget price on wayside quite a while ago:

    NDI - Airback
PFS - 279 (post Cartoon band)
Guigou Chenevier - Les Rumeurs de la ville
    Kombinat M - Hybrid Beat
Curlew - Fabulous Drop (the last two are from today and the ones before it I listened to yesterday)

Non avant and not even close and all from yesterday or the day before:

Multi Story - Crimson Stone (Tues)
Carptree - Man Made Machine (Weds)
Ian Anderson - Homo Erraticus (Weds)
Do not suffer through the game of chance that plays....always doors to lock away your dreams (To Be Over)

The Idle Race - BBC Sessions
Mungo Jerry - Mungo Jerry (In 1970, when this album came out, the rock newspaper Fusion gave it a two-word review, "Catchy junk." I love catchy junk.)

Looking forward to my day in court.

That's a good one! I have to play it again. "Ut oh...here comes another pack of wah wahs." Apparently that refers to a wah wah pedal. Also, theme from boat weirdos is a good instrumental and a bit proggish imo. Of course LBGTM is one I never get tired of no matter how much I hear it.

The first album definitely didn’t sound like I expected from the band name! I was imagining something much…snarkier! But I was pleasantly surprised.

I have been on a bit of a Walsh kick of late. "Seriously" is one of his best IMO.
