Death inspires me like a dog inspires a rabbit
This one caused quite a stir on the old PE site when it was album of the day a while back...

Bill Bruford: " Life for me is a series of asses that I played behind. Adrian Belew has got a very nice ass, slim. John Wetton's is a little bigger. Jon Anderson's is very small, nice legs, lousy ass. It's a series of asses."
Wait a sec.
Didn't Peacock sing in Bruford???

I want to dynamite your mind with love tonight.
Has that ever been confirmed to actually be her and not just some picture that got used for the album?
Yeah - definitely one of Bruf's best.
Music isn't about chops, or even about talent - it's about sound and the way that sound communicates to people. Mike Keneally
Bruford played on the above album. Just one track, but he’s there. He played on her X-Dreams album as well. And yes, she appeared on Feels Good to Me.

What about that Rock Goes to College thing? She's on that, right?
That picture is sweet - no wonder my father-in-law likes her! Makes me wish I had a pair of scissors.
I like her voice. It's weird but I like it. I like Annette'$ ass too.
Annette was probably always a very physical chick... one her debut solo I'm The One (72), the CD booklet features studio pics of her in the flimsiest top you'd imagine.. I'd have a hard time to concentrate on playing music with her hanging around like that
my music collection increased tenfolds when I switched from drug-addicts to complete nutcases.
Yeah, I kind of thought it was a joke when I first spun the Bruford disc she's on, hoping the rest of her parts were sung "normal". Nope. Just an annoying singing style, and its a shame as the tone of her voice is good. Doesn't quite ruin the album for me as there are still a ton of great instrumental parts on the album.
It’s obvious she’s a very sexual being; I can’t think of another female composer writing such frank songs about sex and sexuality as early as she was.

I have no trouble with her singing on One of A Kind, though the vocals are mixed a bit too high IMO. On Rock Goes to College she either couldn't hear herself or was having a bad night.
More than 15 posts in and nobody's brought up this.
That's because she's not on it. She was on Bruf's previous album, "Feels Good To Me." For OoaK, he named the band "Bruford" and kept everybody but her and Wheeler on trumpet/fluegelhorn. I didn't really like her singing, but didn't hate it (and it WAS up too high in the mix). And yes, she has a great butt! She's sexy as hell on Bruford's "Rock Goes to College" DVD!
Sorry; right - that's the title I meant.
Wonder how that butt looks now, as shes 71/72 yrs old...I loved everything about the "Feels Good To Me' Album!!
I must be a loon because I love Peacock's singing, even on/especially on Rock Goes to College.
I know that it SHOULD annoy me as it does most others, but for some reason, it doesn't.
