very sad to read. I met him at least twice. The last being at the last Yes show I saw with Chris Squire in 2014 (7/25/14) in Madison, WI. I met Pete as well I recall. Steve and I had a brief chat, I just recall him telling me about his love for Steely Dan.

This place definitely will miss him, but I'm sure he's smiling down on us up there in the stars now.

    RIP.

Very sorry for your loss. Steve was a great guy and unique character. I hung out with him at ProgDay and at some shows in the Chicago area. RIP Prog Geezer.

"Aquageezer" belting out Aqualing, with Dale and Luis et al (Silver Pipe) - several years ago, in Philly.

And this pic became his avatar here on PE

I think Geez did Ian Anderson better than Ian Anderson did Ian Anderson!

This is the "geezer" emoji here on PE, made in his honor

He once expressed here on PE (in so many words) an appreciation for my sense of humor (admittedly an acquired taste); made my day. I'm gonna get drunk listening to Steely Dan and raise a glass to Steve.

    Happy trails progeezer.

Very sad news, yet at the same time a relief that his pain is finally at an end.

    Man, what a great dude.

Never met him, never really interacted with him on the board, but it's clear what he meant to everyone here and and what he brought to both PE and real life.

RIP and my heartfelt condolences to everyone he loved and who loved him.
Please don't ask questions, just use google.

Never let good music get in the way of making a profit.

I'm only here to reglaze my bathtub.

I am so sorry to hear this. I know the last two weeks have been hard, but I hope you and yours were buoyed by the love from so many here at PE. Geezer is now playing that great gig in the sky.

Indeed! And with the cup of absinthe in hand.

One of my dearest friends. My life is fuller having known and been around him. Goodbye, dear friend, and my deepest sorrow for his family.

The world of prog is reduced by one more.

Looking forward to my day in court.

I'm very sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I never met him, but what a wonderful man he was. The world is a lesser place today.
