    Happy birthday indeed!

The New Yorker spotlighted some of their writings about Dylan yesterday. Here be the link: https://www.newyorker.com/books/doub...ylan-at-eighty

Well worth reading through. No matter how much is written about him, there's always some new nugget to learn, even in pieces written 50+ years ago.
I want to dynamite your mind with love tonight.

Seeing the title for this thread, that Peanuts comic ^^^ is the first thing I thought of. I remember seeing it in the Providence Evening Bulletin 50 years ago.

I have coincidentally been on a Dylan kick lately, re-exploring his much maligned Gospel albums and his 80s and 90s output. He has always been a fascinating character.

I've been listening to Dylan too these last couple of days, mostly Morning Glory, Blood on the Tracks and Desire. Amazing albums. Happy birthday to the man.

I think my favorite Bob Dylan album is his first one. I like everything up to Nashville Skyline but really love the first album. It's country AF.

I never paid that much attention to the gospel albums, didn't buy them until years after they came out and never listened to them much. But the Bootleg Series volume from that era that came out a few years ago really turned my head around. Dylan was on fire doing that material live.
