The Cards absolutely sucked in their last preseason game. On the plane flying to New Orleans for their 3rd and final game, they had to turn around in the air and come home due to Ida. They desperately needed that practice.

Heh. I was just getting to that today. I renewed leagues and sent the invites (though survival didn’t let me automatically send invites, so you will likely have to join manually), but if you want to invite someone or anyone new wants to join, here is the info:

we gave the Super Bowl champs all they could handle

    screw you Vegas

I'm proud of our team... if we could do that to the world champs in their house, were gonna have a good year
Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

Those missed field goals were devastating. I only saw the 2nd quarter. Surprised to see the final score this morning.

Sure, a close game but there's one thing I'm really stoked about and that's the Buc's O line. Brady wasn't even close to getting touched at all. With a QB that's almost as old as dirt, keeping him upright is a priority.

Now, how good the Dallas defense is remains to be seen but one of 17 down and Brady's still healthy, it's a good start.

Wow, looks like a favorable schedule. NFC and AFC East plus Chicago, Indy and Buffalo at the end. It's kinda a bummer, no rematch with KC or any supposed really good teams except Buffalo. Who knows, there's always a few teams that make it to the playoffs that didn't come close the year before. And everyone always gives the champs the game of their season.

I picked them to beat the Colts.

Well, that's not going to happen, but I do think they're going to fall off a bit this year. I have seen pundits picking them to do very well, so we'll see. I think their running game and o-line are suspect, and the defense overall is not what it was.

I think the Seahawks have pretty much stayed the same while the 49'ers and Rams have improved, I expect we'll still be ahead of the Cards.
