I know that most of the starters aren't playing, but if this is your depth, Lions fan...it's gonna be a long season in Detroit.
DVR'd the game and watching it right now. Yea......it's going to be a long season either way me thinks.

Well apparently Tua had a good game. Probably means nothing since the Falcons rested their starters. We had a pretty good scare with Jaylen Waddle. He " waddled" off the field and looked hurt, but he's ok. Whew.

Wow, Pats trade Sony Michel to the Rams for a bag of chips, and Ravens give up on Shawn Wade and trade him already.

They have too many defensive backs.

I have run a fantasy league since 1997 and we have our draft Sunday. Can't wait! I also have tix to 4 WMU games this fall, so geared up for college football as well.

Imagine that. A Browns fan stoked for a season to start. Feels good don't it?

It does, and I have high expectations for my team. But beyond that, I'm watching preseason games by other teams on NFL Network, etc. I'm just ready for some football, as the saying goes.

If we win 3 out of the first 5 I might get stoked.

Moe, for you as a fan I hope your team goes deep into the post-season.

Jury is still out on the Seahawks. The Lions still look like a dumpster fire. I might wind up living vicariously through someone else's team this year... again

The Ravens look like they might cheer you up some, even though the starting offense might be playing together for the first time on opening day against Oakland.

I DVR'd the game last night and just watched it. Yup, they look pretty horrible, although hardly any of the starters were playing. One thing that is obvious is this team does not have much depth.

The Eagles just picked up Gardiner Minshew. Look out, NFC East.

Ravens running back JK Dobbins suffered an ugly injury today. If he loses time due to the injury, it will probably benefit my Browns, but he's a Buckeye, and I hate to see this. I hope it's not serious, but it looked bad. A meniscus at least.

It didn't look good. The next backs averaged 10.5 and 13.5 and 7.5 per run. They might be okay until he heals. Huntley didn't look much different than Lamar and the defense just smothers.

As a true freshman at Utah in 2016, Huntley played in four games as a backup to Troy Williams. Huntley was named the starter over Williams in 2017.[4][5] He started 10 games, missing three due to injury and completed 199 of 312 passes for 2,411 yards, 15 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.[6] Huntley started the first nine games of his junior year in 2018, missing the last five due to injury.[7] He finished the season completing 150 of 234 passes for 1,788 yards, 12 touchdowns and six interceptions. He returned as the starter his senior year in 2019.[8]

^ Yeah, I think the UCLA QB spells his name differently. Maybe Hundley.
