I think Tom retired. Not sure if it's been confirmed.

That's good. He had a hell of a run. I'd take Brady if he decides to come back. Tua can sit on Brady's lap and take notes. Seriously I'd take Tom Brady at 50 over Tua....

I think Pat Mahomes is breathing a sigh of relief. He's top Dog now. Might be too late for Aaron.

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

Has anyone mentioned Big Ben retiring? He had a more than respectable career. Winning 2 of 3 SBs is nothing to sneeze at.

I won't believe it until it comes from Brady himself. If true he probably thinks the team is heading in the wrong direction. If he did retire, what are the odds that Gronk calls quits again too?

Oh Gronk isn't playing if Brady isn't there

Brady only retired to take the spotlight away from Roethlisberger.

I'm rooting for the Bengals, I'd like both the Rams and 49ers to lose

No retirement announcement for Brady until Feb 5, if at all.

I’d like to see a Rams Bengals SB, but I don’t think the Bengals can luck themselves past Burrow’s interceptions. Bengals at home, beat the Chiefs. However this game is in KC, and KC is hot.

    Re: the Conference championships.

I'll definitely be rooting for the Chiefs but if Cincy happens to win, I won't be very disappointed.

As for the 49ers/Rams game, I think I'd rather see the 49ers win, if only because then the Chiefs (or Cincy) wouldn't have to cover Kupp. OTOH, I do like to watch him play. Since 1966, he's only the fourth player to "win" the triple crown for receivers.

    ----------

I was just looking over career passing yards at Pro Football Reference and check this out:

    George Blanda --- 26,920 --- 1949-1975

I remember seeing him play. Of course, by that point, he had switched over to kicker. I did see him come in as a QB once, tho, after the starter got hurt. I think that was Lamonica; Stabler and the other QB were on IR.

Rooting for Bengals and Rams, expecting it to the be the opposite. (Chiefs I'm fine with...49ers less so)

Man they're drowning out the CBS halftime show with cheesy country music, too damn funny.
