Fucking Dolphins miss a field goal. It hits the upright and bounces out. Sometimes football is all about lucky bounces.

Why wouldn't you mess with a VPN? With a VPN I can watch games that are blacked out or simply not broadcast in my region. One doesn't need a cable subscription for this.

A blatant no delay of game call on an expired play clock on a 3rd and 19th play, Lamar Jackson throws it out of bounds, and then on 4th down a 66 yard field goal. Only the Lions.

It sure looked that way to me, but only the Lions can find ways to loose like this either way......

They can be on whichever side they want. They still need to be right.

Tbh, the same could have happened to the Browns in years past.

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

Weird clock management at the end of the game by the Chargers, I understand going for the TD but two quick passes leaving 32 seconds on the clock and not forcing the Chiefs to use their timeout? You must really mistrust your kicker if you don't bleed the clock and kick as time expires.

that defense is looking gassed midway through the 3rd quarter all 3 games so far. The pass defense has been average for the last 3 years but at least we could stop the run... not any more. We haven't even faced our own division yet.

Yes...that was weird. And initially I was quite surprised, but I get the impulse of wanting points, and the chargers have been quite bad with kickers in the past like 5 years (he missed an extra point earlier in the game). Too much time to leave on the clock, this is true, but I can understand the logic of leaving it in your best players hands.

But would they have taken the penalty after the Ravens didn't advance the ball.

It would have moved the kick back 5 yards.

Any thoughts on the refs calls during the Niners Packers game last night? I saw at least two MAJOR missed calls that favored the Niners. First the no grounding call against Jimmy G. that led to a TD and second the helmet to helmet contact on Devonte Adams during a crucial end game drive. Pack still pulls it out, but those seem like big errors to me.

Only if the Ravens didn't advance the ball. They may have ended up with a forty yard field goal.

It didn't look like helmet to helmet to me. I think he led with his shoulder. Now the officiating in tonight's game is atrocious.

my Boyz are looking better than they have in recent seasons... too early to know for sure, but I'm liking what I'm seeing
Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

There was seven seconds left with no timeouts. They ain't getting the next play off. That's why they had to try a 66 yard kick.
