The 1970s ECM albums such as Chick Corea's "Return to Forever", Rubisa Patrol s/t, Ralph Towner' "Solstice", Double Image's "Dawn" etc. were perceived as a kind of progressive music back then and therefore were more accepted by prog-rock audiences than by jazz purists, although ECM was (is) a jazz label. But these two fantastic flute-driven instrumentals, recorded in the late 1960s, are "ECM" before ECM and hence I'd like to post them in this thread.
