I'm going to have to dust off the old 8-track player. Can't wait to hear that gorgeous "thunk" at the end of each track. And then to flip the tape over in the middle of a tune, heavenly.

How about '68'21, a new version of Robert Wyatt's '68 album with backwards Mary Halvorson overdubs?

I used to use isopropyl alcohol and one of those cotton swab thingies that had a long wooden handle, and when I didn't have any, I used a q-tip taped to a pencil.
    But you probably weren't serious.
