Just last week I saw a commercial for a computer game in which the accompanying music was a song from Manfred Mann's Chapter III. Now, that's obscure! And hip.....

i've got's to ask any experts out there - that catchy Subway commercial, the "five dollar footlongs" from a while back and some of the newer ads i swear sound like the Wondermints.

The Esurance guitar song is an old Chet Atkins tune called Jam Man.
They played this on every commercial break during last year's US Open tennis tournament.

Not a commercial, but anyone else remember Connie Chung's TV news magazine "1986," which used Rush's "Mystic Rhythms" as its theme music? That was awesome.
There was a commercial on about 10 years or more years ago for a sports drink called PowerAide. The music used was The Monks' "Monk Time."
