NP: Corea, Clarke & White - Forever on the headphones. This is a killer 2-CD set. Disc one is live and disc two studio, with Ponty and Connors... outstanding! Probably my favourite version of Senor Mouse too.

yes, that album is awesome. Like you said, it is absolutely progressive in the true sense of the word. I havent spun it in a few years but ISTR it was made up of some very long pieces which morphed and changed as they developed. Chick was such a creative force. Amazing album that totally took me by surprise especially since it is a later, 2006 recording.
Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

Chick Corea in Milford Graves band(1960, according to the information provided).Milford Graves is on timbales.I saw another photo last year sometime of the same band minus Pete Yellin(saxophone) and Chick Corea minus glasses. That photo caption said it was taken in 1962.I've been looking for this photo on the net but can't find it.

Cross-posted to the "post something cool" thread because, well, it's freakin' cool. And beautiful.

Happy with what I have to be happy with.
I listened to the Super Trio live album (Corea, Gadd, McBride) the other day on YT and that's badass.
And I didn't like Akoustic Band way back when, either...
I'm a little burnt out on all these modern Zoom kind of things, but look at this. WOW!

I've been playing the RtF reunion CDs from 2008 and it is burning, burning , burning!
no tunes, no dynamics, no nosebone
I snagged a couple of used CDs from ebay including Akoustic Band Live, and Beneath The Mask. Two of the better ones from that era.
I listened to the complete Is Sessions for the first time yesterday. Damn is that stuff sweet. Shame it seems to be oop. Another blue note disappointment.
No humor please, we're skittish.
Never let good music get in the way of making a profit.
I just rebought Is on LP, since I lost mine when I moved. Great free music from long ago.
I'm not lazy. I just work so fast I'm always done.
