Ok...and now back to our regularly scheduled program. One thing I can say about Larry Flynt, he went to bat for freedom of speech like few others have, and he paid a very steep price for doing so. He talked the talk and walked the walk, even if he ended up doing the walking in his wheelchair. Good riddance someone said? Fuck that, Larry was a champion. RIP

With Hustler, Larry Flynt dispensed with the pretentious attitudes of both Playboy and Penthouse and presented smut for what it was. That said, his appreciation of great photography was apparent as well. He didn't cut corners when it came to that aspect of it.
