You're coming down from Toronto? How cool! Say hello! (It's most likely I will be running the door).

I'm very fortunate to have a friend in the area who is putting me up (he and his partner will also be coming), so it's less heroic than first appears, ha. Plus I am being blown away by that Ensemble Volcanic Ash album and dig DT too. Looking forward to my first ever visit to Orion. And I will endeavor to say my best Canadian hello, eh!

    1. Friday’s are much harder for folks SOUTH of Baltimore (raises hand)

    2. That’s part of what motivated me to make this post.

I’ve been attending shows at Orion since 1996; it’s a hugely special thing. Happy to have you attending!!!

Joe gave me a call this morning and we talked for awhile. He said after tallying at the end there were about 35 people there. It just didn't look like that many since some were in and out the whole night.

35 is on the lower end of ok, but I still consider it reasonably AOK, especially for a Friday night.

Thanks for sharing. I've got a music fanatic buddy in MD. I just texted him this info.

I wanted to go to that show to see Bruteus (saw them play a ProgDay preshow a few years ago and they were great), but it was my wedding anniversary. My wife shot that idea down before I could even say it out loud.

Why do women think you have to celebrate on the exact date. If birthdays fall in the middle of the week you usually have a party on the weekend.
