For Episode #60 we catch up with drummer, Jeff Sipe. We discuss his work with the seminal "jam band", The Aquarium Rescue Unit. Also, his collaborations with Shawn Lane and Jonas Hellborg. His work with fellow ARU member Jimmy Herring is discussed too, including the amazing Meeting of the Spirits tour with John McLaughlin. Resurrecting the Mahavishnu Orchestra catalog. We look at his early years as a drummer and inspirations for starting down that path. We take a look at improvisation in a live setting and discuss it's merits and hopeful ambitions. Also, we discuss his current kit and drum preferences. A look at various legendary drummers is also included.
