    Hi Folks,

    latest update...

Chris has been moved to a 1st floor room, as he no longer needs critical care. His physical condition is improving and has taken a few steps with the aid of a nurse. He is still on the nasal feed oxygen, all other apparatus has been removed. He cannot yet eat solid food and his speech is very limited and quiet in tone. We are not sure if he is capable of recognition, at least, this is the opinion of the chaplain, that visits him every other day. An additional MRI was performed on the weekend and does show evidence of brain damage, to what extent, has yet to be determined. Pat & I will be making a early start on our annual drive to Florida. We intend to visit Chris for a couple of days, starting Sunday, Dec 16, weather permitting. We hope that after a personal visit, we can come to our own conclusions.

    R.I.P. Chris Buckley (Winkersnuff)

Sad to say our good friend Chris Buckley passed away sometime over the past few days...after not hearing from him since last Friday and not showing up for our Zoom Basement Sessions last night, we became worried and called his local police dept who sent someone to check on him. He was deceased..we have no details yet. He did suffer a major heart attack in 2012, I'm quite sure there is a connection there.

That's so sad. I had some nice chats with him when I was at ProgDay. He was so enthusiastic about music.

I remember Chris from many Nearfests...he struck me as a very pleasant, soft spoken and friendly guy. Didn't he have a blond mohawk in his younger days?

I'm truly sorry to hear this news...thanks for letting us all know Dave.

    RIP Chris!
