    This confusion won't merely be your epitaph - it's gonna change your world, man.

    FANTASTIC clip of Lars Hollmer playing with Mats/Morgan, a few months before Hollmer left indefinitely. He and Samla/Zamla were an essential influence on so much modern Swedish rock allsorts, it's almost peculiar how there's not more material lying around. This is only part 3 of a 4-part concert hovering in YT, btw. A grand excuse to watch three of the greatest musicians in the whole world - Hollmer, Ågren and Öberg - simply swing it out.

    What's so fabulously great about the following is that it also has Fredrik Thordendal (Meshuggah mastermind) on stick;

    I very much wanted to include this GREAT footage with our DVD that came with Lars’ final release, ‘With Floury Hand’, but the rights owners didn’t want it.

    So, it belongs to YouTube now....

    Any time any one speaks to me about any musical project, the one absolute given is "it will not make big money". [tip of the hat to HK]

    I'm enjoying the latest John Zorn - Baphomet.

    I blame Wynton, what was the question?

    Now listening: Tim HodgkinsonEach In Our Own Thoughts (UK, 1994)

    Little bit incoherent album as it mixes avantprog-like stuff with pure chamber music and it is unfortunate that some pieces has been recorded only with "virtual orchestra". But at its best Each In Our Own Thoughts is brilliant. I especially adote the short opening piece "A Hollow Miracle" with Dagmar Krause and of course studio version of Henry Cow epic "Erk Gah" which is called here "Hold To The Zero Burn, Imagine" (and which also features Dagmar). 11 minute "String Quartet 1" is also pretty nice!

    Baphomet just kills. But we're so accustomed to listening to the artist instead of the music. If this was coming from an unknown Italian trio from Bologna, we would be raving about it. But it's just Zorn, so it doesn't count.

    After a little break I am back to listening to Furvent (2020) by Le Grand Sbam. What a delightful and crazy album this is! It is kind of miracle that anything this far out is even being released today.

    I just got both Furvent and Vaisseau Monde (paid too much, though; I didn't notice they had a bundle deal). Fantastic stuff. The missing link between Magma and Carl Stalling.
    RATS' ALLEY: my mom's neighbor likes it. Available on CD and vinyl.

    Love this album, haven't heard it in like 3 decades.

    I know Fred Chalenor sadly passed....haven't kept up with Amy Denio though, what has she been doing lately? (within the last 5 years or so)

    I decided I did not listen to any Miriodor for too long so I am binging those. Played the first three today.

    3e advertissement, had not played that one in years. Man, I loved it and it supposed to be one of the mediocre ones in their catelogue.

    Not sure what she's up to either. Making more cool stuff, hopefully.
