Count me as another who thought the second album was self-titled. I'm down with this one for sure.

I never checked the band out before, but samples are tasty

I'm sure I'll get the BC download of this. Unfortunately transatlantic shipping costs have been prohibitive for some years now, so probably I'll have to do without the CD.

Any news on this? I emailed Sunday, but haven't got any reaction so far.

Well, I used the email-address mentioned there, but I guess I should have used the form (which I just did).

Got this email earlier this week, now doubly stoked for some new HoG! Love that this thread is three pages!

"Thank you for your order. Your CD will ship Dec. 10 or shortly thereafter.

    Cynthia Fox
    Ambient Records"

Did I mention there was no shipping charge to get this sent to the wilds of Western Mass?

Fixed the glitch that wouldn't let you order from your mobile device.

High resolution 24-bit/192kHz digital downloads will be made available on Ambients website in the coming weeks.

    They will sound amazing!

Unfortunately, they will not be on Bandcamp in the immediate future.

Then I guess I need to get familiar with the Ambients website then, because bandcamp is my #1 go to, for new music.

Keep us posted Chris, if you are able.

I expected to pay more. This is a great deal and I'm looking forward cranking the CD on my stereo soon.

I’m glad it’s not gonna be on Bandcamp. Don’t get me wrong, I love BC. I just hate their downloads. I use ITunes and it’s always a struggle to un zip, rename, resquence (sometimes), every download.

And no, I’m not changing from iTunes any time soon. Got way too much time invested and I’m used to the way it works and not interested in changing.

I think it is supposed to be on bandcamp eventually. Not sure what the issue would be with bandcamp downloads? I love BC. You can get mp3/aac/flac files all easily. Sounds like you are more upset with itunes. Now that I get! And since I recently updated to Windows 10, I've have taken the opportunity to switch to MusicBee. A lot of my musician friends recommended it, and it is excellent. I was able to search for all my itunes files and port them over to MusicBee. You can configure it to how you want, and I find I don't even need to make playlists anymore, like I did in itunes. Glad to be free of that Apple crap.

Revisited "Timeslip" the other evening while awaiting the new one. Man, the Hammond work on this smokes.

Has it really been 10 years since High Street? I thought each album has gotten better but I didn’t know how the last one beat Timeslip. I’ll be pleasantly surprised if this one is even better. I’m in dire need of some good rock music. Haven’t heard much of anything in awhile that excited me. So this comes just in time before I gave up in the music totally.
