IQ Livestream - December 12th - Will Be Presenting Subterranea Concert from 2011

    Online Christmas Bash

In place of the postponed Christmas gigs this year IQ will be hosting an online Christmas Bash where we’ll be ‘live’ streaming another previously unseen show on 12th December (the planned night of the Dutch Christmas Bash). This time we’ll be showing the entire Subterranea concert from the IQ30 weekend in 2011, and the idea is to create, as much as possible, a live gig atmosphere.

To this end the doors will open at 19:30 and we’ll have half an hour of ‘walk-in’ music before the gig where the band will be around to talk to everyone in the chat room. Showtime at 20:00, then after the show we’ll have a ’See you in the bar’ event to chat further, groove mildly with DJ Large Marge and sink a few G&Ts… Get those wings ready and hope to see you all there!

Quite the treat to see "the boys" perform this at ROSFfest a few years back. This should be more so getting to chat with them. I LOVE IQ!

A few years back I gave a young lady and her mom along with my daughter, and possibly my father a ride back and forth to their travel soccer game that was probably a good hour and a half a way. This young lady's family were/are very religious, even put scripture on their front door.

I like to play certain types of music when people are trapped in my car; much of that being YES-music. However that day I was playing IQ's Frequency and Road of Bones. I'm generally not a lyric guy for the most part, but to see the horror on the girl's mom face when Road of Bones was playing and I actually tuned into/renembered what Peter was singing about. Hope she appreciated the musicianship, and the song compositions. ;-) LOL ( I'm so bad sometimes :-) )

LOL. Makes me think of the Black Adder episode where he has his puritanical aunt and uncle over at the same time he's hosting a drinking contest.
I'm holding out for the Wilson-mixed 5.1 super-duper walletbuster special anniversary extra adjectives edition.
