The full concert at the Capital Theater on 12/4/76 is no longer on YouTube, but Nice Nice Very Nice is still viewable here.

Thanks for posting this, I'll check it out.

Funny thing happened yesterday(Sunday), I pulled out my copy on cd of One Eighty, and forgot it's the Japanese version.
A somewhat rare Japanese copy with the song titles and lyrics in both English AND Japanese in the booklet.
There is also an insert inside the booklet with nothing but Japanese written on it.

My Vinyl copy(new) of Road Island arrived today, just haven't opened it up yet.

Love this band. Came to them through the Kansas connection (they seem largely unknown over here in Europe) and fell in love with the debut album. Took me a while to move on from there but really enjoy the next three as well, and based on this thread it sounds like I really should check out Road Island as well.

Love their vocal sound, both Pack and Puerta are great singers. Pack also sang a song on Kerry Livgren's first solo album Seeds of Change, and with John Elefante's Mastedon. And I just found out he actually did backing vocals on Vinyl Confessions.

^^ I believe Pack is also featured on some of Alan Parson's records. He's a great singer and underrated guitarist.

Yes, he appeared on Alan Parsons' Try Anything Once album. He had 3 songs on that album and performed vocals as well.
I think that was the only AP he was on.

That album kicks ass. Re-Jigue with its orchestral crescendo with rock intstro, gives me goosebumps. Pack’s vocal performance is awesome too. A great album to demo audio systems with. No AP album is more inspiring than this one IMO.

All of Ambrosia played on the debut Alan Parsons Project album Tales of Mystery and Imagination.

It's been decades since I've had that album, or heard it, but you're absolutely correct. Good catch!

Sean, sitting here in quarantine in my basement, recovering from covid 19 and wanted to let you know the interview made my morning! Thanks. I look to my right and I have a vinyl copy of Road Island, signed by the band from 6 or 7 years ago. Just ordered a Tin Drum cd. Anyway thanks again!
