Been a casual fan ever since he was part of the Bosstown Sound with the band Circus Maximus. Had tickets to see him with Emmy Lou Harris and Willie Nelson in 1976 in Providence, but the show was canceled. Goodbye Jerry Jeff.
Lou
Looking forward to my day in court.
Sad news again, and again. Circus Maximus!
Living in Austin TX since the mid-70's, I knew a lot of JJW songs. I didn't like all that Cosmic Cowboy stuff back in the 70's when it was really big, but I've come to appreciate some of it over the years. I have albums by Willie Nelson, Joe Ely, Michael Murphey, B. W. Stevenson and Jerry Jeff Walker. Great stuff. RIP.
