Like a lot of these Rock Legend episodes where they try to combine different bands, this one was disappointing. I can see Zappa+KC, I can see Zappa+Beefheart, but Zappa+Beefheart+KC is a weird combination to sell as "freaks". And I had to laugh that they kept showing pictures of KC with Bruford while talking about their first two albums. But its not often that you get to hear Court of the Crimson King and Inca Roads in the same 30 minutes.

Once again, I have to miss it. My cable provider doesn't carry AXS TV.

Weird combinations are inventive and freak. The correlation here is one of time. Having not seen much of Beefheart, I enjoyed this much.

Never was a Beefheart fan but I learned a bit.

I was disappointed. Not much substance there, only focusing on the three bands. The footage was cool but other than that I don't think I learned anything.
