    IQ Frequency Re-released

Up on the GEP website now.

Frequency is back in print. They added a live bonus track on the CD: The Province

Selling Vinyl of this album for the first time. Either Red or Blue-Splatter available.

Not Cheap! Shipping to Left Coast USA is almost the price of the LP!

    Blue-Splatter Vinyl & 1 CD + Shipping to the USA? $69.75

I suppose we can wait to see if Ken @LE will offer the vinyl.....the CD is already there. You would save a TON on shipping.

Ordered from LaserCD back on 10/1 along with some other IQ releases. Love shopping with them! They also fill orders promptly. Usually then just takes a couple days from NJ to AZ. But when they decide to ship by media mail - who knows when it will arrive.

    Thanks!

Media mail is all over the place. Seems a bit faster than when COVID-19 first sent USPS off the rails but still its a slow service. The parcels travel with the Victoria's Secret and U-Line catalogs but its cheap!

I had much better media mail delivery times during Covid 19 breakout period.March-April than after the new Postmaster General appointed by Trump took charge of the USPS.
He came in and cut hours, overtime and a bunch of other stuff and I had a couple of Disog's vinyl album take up to 2 weeks.
I mailed(first class) an original recording on CD from Florida to my friend in California and it took over 2 weeks back in May. I had to submit a lost item request form, since the tracking showed it stuck in Florida for 8 days. This was right after he too control..
My Disogs sellers told me the same thing with all their shipments, even first class mail were taking 2 weeks or longer since the new Postmaster General started managing.

Blame you know who!!! they're same one's all of a sudden removing mail drop off locations just before the election, which a Federal judge has ordered stopped!

    I don't care if you're a Repub/Dem Independent, Socialist...don't EFF with my mail!!

Tomorrow at Noon, PDT (3PM for the US right coast, late evening for those across the pond), IQ will be livestreaming a show from the Ever 25th anniversary tour. Same show from Colos Saal, Germany that has audio only on the Ever 25th anniversary set.

Hoping there will be another batch pressed. I completely missed out on the vinyl pre-order.

Overnighted from the UK? They had to take a bath on it.

Are there any IQ studio albums that are currently OOP? I didn't really know that Frequency was - that's kind of surprising.
This isn't remastered or anything, is it? If not, adding a bonus track to it is kind of a slap in the face to people who already owned the CD, because most people wouldn't buy the reissue JUST to get one bonus track. Is the bonus track any good? I guess it must be on YouTube, but still, I'm going to be outraged about this!

Exactly my thoughts, so I am passing on this one unless there was new remastering done on the proper album and it is a vast improvement. One live bonus track does not make much sense ... unless someone is missing the album altogether. As I read it somewhere (IQ webpage suppose), the re-release was due to the fact it has not been available for some time and going for quite a chunk of money on the market. It seems a dire situation is with the Frequency tour live album as well.
On the good side, and from a reliable source, a box of archive (I guess live) recordings (including the Tales from a Dark CHristmas that I am missing) is to be released by the end of this year or beginning of the 2022. This one I will be waiting for, even if only for the Tales ...

This is the first time Frequency is on vinyl. The CD has been OOP for some time. Gotta jump on IQ. They do not keep everything in print.

Which one is that? I think I have all the Archive releases, but maybe this isn't an Archive release?

Oh, those ones. Forgot about those. I do have them, I was thinking this was referring to complete concert CDs.

For a good while I lost track of the Archive releases, so to be honest I am not sure if these were the ones mentioned as the ones impossible to get. Just found these directly related to the Frequency Tour on IQ website and Limited Edition suggested to me these were the ones.

Yeah, these are the ones I've most often heard people have a hard time finding. I THINK these were sold on their tour at the time, and then what was left went on sale from their site. That kind of release often becomes the most sought after.

When I purchased Frequency at least 8 - 9 years ago, it came with a DVD of their concert in Holland, where they were playing Frequency album cuts before the album was released. Some songs even had different lyrics.

If that's the one I'm thinking of, it has a killer version of "Awake and Nervous" on it.
