    Ian Anderson's career change?

Ian Anderson will take the mound tonight for my Atlanta Braves in his major league debut. It's nice to see he is willing to make a career change at his age. I wonder if he will pitch standing on one leg.

Following in the footsteps of Steve Howe.

I remember when the baseball player Steve Howe passed away, and some dick posted a RIP thread, but simply gave it the title "RIP Steve Howe". You had to open the thread to realize he wasn't talking about the guitarist.

Gee, thanks. And here I was hoping someone would come up with a better line than the one about standing on one leg.

Ian was on thin ice on the mound.

All pitchers are on one leg through most of the motion. Ian's a natural.

This article says he shouldn't be standing at all, but sitting instead.

since you mention "sitting", there was a time when he performed in a wheelchair:

Unfortunately, the "snot ball" had to be taken out of Ian's pitching rota due to the COVID virus concerns.
