For me that leaves "Bitches Crystal" as the only track I haven't got.

We don't know that the other tracks will be released versions or previously unreleased versions. I suspect mostly the former, but not necessarily all.

Fortunately for me, the only time I saw Eddie Jobson was at Progstock in 2018 and his band played "Trilogy" (ELP cover) but not Bitches.
In all, it was a great set considering it was cut short due to curfew laws. Sadly nothing from that performance will be on this upcoming Live CD.

I’d love to have the NF set. I really enjoyed that. The encore rendezvous 602 gave me chills.

4 1/2 years isn't really "not long". I saw UK in 2015, and that was still nearly two years before he died.

I guess it depends on how you view time. When I think of Johns career and how long I was a fan to me it wasn’t long afterwards. I’m just glad I got to see him one more time before he left us. We will always have the music to remind us and I’m thinking about this release it sounds like a good one.

Well, that's up to Eddie. He recorded it, not us.

I thought it was a good performance, but Eddie might be in disagreement. He seems to be very picky about his music. May not be the best thing, but then who am I to judge his judgement?

^ I think that sometimes an artist with very high standards might nix the release of a performance because they hear too many "errors" in their own playing, while forgetting that there were 3 or 4 other people on stage playing. They don't listen to the performance as a whole, so they don't pick up on how good it actually sounds. Unfortunately, we all lose then, as the show is never released.

This CD (Eddie Jobson Live) sold out on Amazon Canada.

What other vendor could have it?

I saw something recently about Eddie Jobson releasing a show from Japan that had been remastered or something. Is that the fabled bad-sounding Ultimate Zero show or something else that sounds similar but is also from the 90s?

I read that too in the Artist Shop Newsletter:

    UK/Curtain Call [Limited Edition] ....2 Blu-Ray + DVD Set $29.99

Three disc set includes Blu-Ray, Blu-Ray-Audio and DVD. Live release from British prog legend Eddie Jobson who joins forces with former UK bandmate John Wetton to perform two classic UK albums - UK and Danger Money - in their entirety live in Japan. The band also features Alex Machacek on guitar and Marco Minnemann on drums. Eddie Jobson is a keyboardist/violinist noted for his use of synthesizers. He has been a member of several progressive rock bands, including Curved Air, Roxy Music, UK, and Jethro Tull. He was also part of Frank Zappa's band in 1976-77. Before UK, John Wetton was bassist/vocalist/composer for the legendary mid-'70s edition of King Crimson. After UK he went on to superstardom with Asia.

Can't find out if this is a remaster or something like that.

Just remember, if you don't like the sound quality of one of his releases that sounds like it was obviously recorded on a consumer grade portable digital recorder or camera that you could see set up at the front of the stage at his shows, it's your audio equipment that's at fault.

So the material on the Blu-Ray and the DVD are the same? I have a set called Curtain Call from 2015, released in Japan, that's a Blu-Ray and 2CD.

It's a remaster and wider release of what was previously released physically just in Japan, IIRC. It did get a global digital audio release at the time. I bought it from here in the UK. It's a good set.

Is there a new CD (audio) only release as well? Not sure why there are two identical DVD/BD entries above, or is that a copy/paste error?

According to Eddie (his official announcements are strangely posted only in the "Eddie Jobson Fan Community":

This package includes an audio-only 24/96k Blu-ray, in both stereo and 5.1 surround. There are currently no plans for a vinyl release. Also, Globe Music has announced that they will no longer manufacture CDs but are currently looking into creating future Dolby Atmos binaural mixes of the UK material.

I wish Eddie would write and record new music, and then put it on CD. It appears I will never get my wish.
