I used to enjoy the Saturday Night Chatroom/Gagliarchives Streams back in the day. I wonder if there's been interest to revive those? Granted, that was before I met my wife and was free to do listen to them on Saturday nights.

Who was the guy that was always in the chat room on 2.0?
I don't like country music, but I don't mean to denigrate those who do. And for the people who like country music, denigrate means 'put down.'- Bob Newhart

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

Good times! Regulars in there included Tom (of course), ViolinCyndee & Jeff (RIP), MAG (not seen him in years), Rune, Cozy and a few others. It was always a laugh-in.

claycorn was in the chat room a lot, too. As well as Progirl (Krys) and DrGoon.

I remember Goon. And Krys. There was also another Jen, a violinist who took instruction from Cyndee.

    Hunnibee (Melissa), too...

I corrected my earlier post. Jeff Legg. He was a big Metheny-Mays fan.

There was a dude there all the time who didn't post much on the board. It'll come to me eventually.

the only thing the chatroom taught me is that at high speed typing, everyone is as crappy as I am.

Used it twice to check out things, but no unterest for me.

Someone who had a great sense of humour and a dedication to metal music, Just Eric! Miss him.

Haven't seen Yves around in a long while. I met him at Prog.com in around 2000. Hope he's okay.

I see Yves quite often, been doing some zoom beer connects, he's all good, his tastes have moved to more psyche so he's not around here as much other than for sports threads.

Yep - as mentioned above, they're both very well and actively pursuing their music interests. I "see" them almost daily.

It would be nice if they were more active here...
    Regards,

My friend and I were fortunate enough to meet Duncan and his lovely wife in person. We discovered we lived about 15 minutes from one another and traveled to Baltimore to see a King's X/Porcupine Tree show. Haven't seen him since, but I have fond memories of that evening. Duncan is an absolute top man.

I met Duncan at NF but wish we had broken bread at that time.

Yeah, Cyndee was really cool. If I remember right I knew her at the Yahoo Yes Group. Which Jeff died? Was that his full ID?
