BTW, do you remember who opened the show? (I'm trying to help Jack Skelly verify this, as there's some contention about who actually played in that opening slot. I think I know, BTW, but am hoping you'll remember independently.) Thanks.

    Best wishes,

Syracuse prog band 805 opened for GG at the May 7, 1980 show at the Hullabaloo in Rensselaer, NY. Must have booked a variety of local opening acts.

Hey, Chris. I only discovered David's music a year or so after that and also lived around Philly at the time. Otherwise, I would have probably made a point to go to both shows. Would love to have seen David Sancious in that time period as well. Cheers! -Alan

I had a juggler as a warm-up when I saw one of their last tours in Tucson.

805 was a pretty hot live band in the 80s. I have their album Stand In Line.

It surpassed all expectations, and from what I've seen elsewhere, has received 100% positive comments/praise!

That was really well done. I just wish there was more of the original band in there playing.

That was my only issue with it.

Pretty damn cool. Loved the guy in his car.

Was Billy playing *the* Rick? Out of all of them he was the only who seemed to be going "F*ck me, this is hard!"

Watching this makes me realize that maybe I do need the entire multi-disk everything package. Man, these guys were on another planet. Nice to see Rachel Flowers grinding it out.

I don't mean to be a party-pooper but I would have liked it much better if it was only the original band members playing. Nice marketing effort though. I can understand that since the Unburied Treasure box set is selling for roughly $365.00! I just wish the old boys would do a real reunion, and just them.
