    Discogs issue

Sorry to cross pollinate but...I know there are a lot of discogs users here.

Is anyone having trouble with the site recently? It never keeps me logged in, constantly logs me out when I switch pages, and gives me error messages when I try to purchase or leave feedback on previous purchases.

It first did this maybe two or three weeks ago, but then corrected itself shortly. Now it's been like this for awhile and its at the point where using the site is a real pain in the ass.

So, is this on my end or are other people having problems with it as well?

    Thanks.

Sometimes these problems can be alleviated if you try using a different browser. I had trouble getting videos to play on YT with Firefox so I switched to Microsoft Edge and it works fine.

^^ Or it can be as simple as updating Adobe Flash Player. When it gets to be too old, Firefox will disable some of its features for security reasons.

In the interim, I have finally been able to place an order and leave feedback, but it still logs me out constantly. If that's the only bug I can live with it, but I fear the other issues will return again.

I'm a luddite so forgive me if this is a stupid question, but if it was a flash issue, wouldn't this effect other websites as well?

You might also try clearing your browser cache and history, if you haven't already. It almost sounds like you have some object cached that might've been defective at some point, and continues to resurface to muck with your page loads.
If you're actually reading this then chances are you already have my last album but if NOT and you're curious:

Flash player has many features. Different websites will use different features. Firefox will disable only the most vulnerable features.

Tried this, no real appreciable effect. (It was keeping me signed in initially, but now has gone back to not doing so, and still logs me out when I change pages.)

This seems to be working, at least for now. Haven't tried to buy anything else yet, but I can navigate pages without being booted.
