Farewell to one of the most important singstresses of all time.

Does anybody here remember Vera Lynn?
    Remember how she said that
    We would meet again
    Some sunny day?

I had never heard of her before "The Wall", but that song made me go back and do some research on her. I had no idea she was still alive to be honest, but she had a hell of a run.

An impressive lady. First heard of her because of the ending of Dr. Strangelove.

Sad to hear she’s gone now.

^ I seriously doubt if she had much knowledge of Mr. Brock beforehand, though. I keep seeing an eventual reaction by Dame Lynn at watching Stacia swing her boobs around the stage in a spectral-cosmic Dance.

A little trivia: One of her songs, "The Little Boy that Santa Claus Forgot" is playing on the radio in a scene in "Pink Floyd The Wall." It's been a long time since I've seen it but I think it's at the very beginning just before "In The Flesh" kicks in.
    When in doubt....

That was just because the acid was kicking in.
