Warner Bros. recently released an entire, hour-long documentary centered on the batmobile, without any announcement. The entire film is available on YouTube. While it touches upon the comic book history of the Batmobile, the doc primarily seems to focus on its aesthetic evolution through tv and movies. Very cool interview with George Barris about the creation of the one from the original TV show.

I don't think that Cadillac was considered a Batmobile. It was just Bruce Wayne's car that Alfred drove them in. The doc starts with the Batmobile from the 60s show.Originally Posted by Dave (in MA)

It does touch on the serial briefly. Top up, Bruce's car. Top down, The Batmobile(sort of).
